Create starting frames with Google Nano Banana AI

1. Head over to aistudio.google.com.
2. Select NanoBanana as your AI model at the bottom in the prompt field.
3. Click the plus icon, upload file, and select the rendering of your building.
4. Copy and paste the prompt.
5. Hold Control and press Enter or click the run icon.

• If you like the image, hover over it and click the download icon.
• If the image is not convincing, click the rerun icon and try again as many times as you would like.

Start a new chat to generate the halfway stage:

1. Click the plus icon in the top right to start a new chat.
2. Upload the original image of your building again.
3. Copy and paste the prompt for the second half of the time lapse.
4. Hold Control and press Enter or click the run icon.
5. Hover over the result and press download, or rerun if needed.

Build the sequence in Midjourney

1. Open midjourney.com.
2. Click the Create tab on the left hand side.
3. In the prompt bar, click the plus icon to add images.
4. Upload all three images:
   • The final render
   • The construction image where it is halfway through
   • The construction image where the lot is empty
5. Set frames:
   • Starting frame: the empty lot
   • Ending frame: the halfway completed building
6. Paste the prompt for Midjourney, then press Enter or click the send icon.
7. Rerun this multiple times to get more options to choose from.

Create the second half of the animation while the first half loads:

1. In the prompt bar, click add images.
2. Starting frame: the halfway mark.
3. Ending frame: the fully rendered image.
4. Copy and paste the prompt, then hit Enter or click the send icon.
5. Rerun this two more times so you have more options.

After Midjourney has completed creating the videos, find which ones are most convincing. Click into each choice and use the download icon at the top right.

Combine videos

The next step is to combine these two clips into one video. You can do this with any video editing program. I typically like to use Premiere because I have a subscription to it and I already pay for it.

• Place the two videos on your timeline.
• The first half of the construction goes first, then the second half goes after that.
• Both of these clips are 5 seconds. When you click play, they run together.

Add a simple ending clip:

1. Go back into MidJourney.
2. Click the add images icon and click your final render.
3. Set the starting frame to your final render.
4. In the prompt, write sunset timelapse.
5. Send the prompt, pick the version you like, and download it.
6. Add that video to the end of your edit.

Upscale your video

The only downside to this process is that the video is not really high quality or high resolution, but that is an easy fix with another AI tool.

1. Head over to free.upscaler.video.
2. Select choose a video or image file and upload your combined timelapse.
3. You can also do this with the two videos pulled straight out of MidJourney and then combine them after upscaling them. I like to do it after it is all done.
4. Click Large and select start upscaling.
5. After it is done, click download.
